- another gathering -
Yup, had another gathering with my army friends in newton circus hawker centre. Practically ordered all the food you could find there, mainly because the stalls there were repetative and not because we ordered alot of food. Nonetheless, the moment we got there we were sort of "served" by the stall owners there, otherwise known as touting. Seeing the way they serve us I was already wondering whether they'll take service charge in their bills ( not that they actually hand in bills in the first place ).

Anyway, the gathering was cool, five people talking about how's life going now and laughing over what happened during the army days(daze). For the record, we talked from newton circus to takashimaya coffee bean to lido. Not that we like walking, just that we were kind of "chased" off in the place where we were in. Yup, hopefully we'll meet again soon, as MOS has promised.
-realisation -
Had the first lab lesson in human pharmacology. Was kind of tense because it was the first time I was handling live mice, the previous times were dead ones. But it turn out okay during the practical just that the mice were abit fierce and would bite on your fingers with every chance they can take, and they would shit and urine all over when they got frighten. Anyway, the moment of realization came when I had to administer/inject a dose of some drug through the syringe into one of the veins in the tail of the mice. At first, the demonstration done by the lab assistant went smoothly, one poke = success. But when it came my turn, I practically left the mouse's tail like a bee hive and I didn't successfully inject the drug in the end. What's worse is that I not only tried on one mouse, but two of them. Kind of an embarassing situation or... I don't really know how to put it... But after I inject unsuccessfully for the second mouse, I kind of turned numb already. But then again, I felt that I couldn't carry on dealing with the mice. Is this part of my realization? Hmmmmmm.......
