Yup, ramen in Orchard Plaza revisited. Tried the cold noodles. Nice. Noodles, chewy and bouncy, got 口感. Wasabi that went with the noodles, not spicy. Next time should add chilli oil and chilli powder. :)
Yup, flip side of the menu is in japanese. Definately a must try though the noodles are as yellow as the common sheng 面 we have here. Those we eat with prawn noodles most of the time.

A small shop on the first floor of plaza singapura right at the corner next to caffefour. Hard to spot but got quite a number of patronizers. Ambience was quite good, nice decoration and cosy feeling. Wooden tables and chairs. Best of all, the outdoor sitting is a non-smoking area. Nice menu that is presented in a photo album form. The down part is that the "photo album" did not include the drink options.
Had to go to the ordering counter to check that out.
Ordered iced milk tea (normal) and honey french toast (would be nicer if they gave me more butter). Price for all this = $3.20. Sell plenty of other bread stuff and I notice that quite a number of the customers were ordering the mee siam, maybe should give it a try next time. Other than that, I can't find it's difference with Ya Kun except that it serves milo dinosaur.

Went to the ramen restaurant in Liang court and finally satisfied my taste buds with the "everybody's-been-saying-nice" ramen. The stock cooked mainly from wild pigs from Japan I think, can't remember much. Though it wasn't spicy enough(can add the chilli oil yourself), on the whole it was really worth the trip. Portion was small for me(as usual), which prompt me to order some other things like the gigantic plate of sashimi in the middle, the sashimi was.... FRESH and Sweetttt~~!!!!! Expensive too~ :'( There's this omelette which is another must try dish in the resturant ( the dish beside the sashimi ), though the egg is like kinda wet and slimy, when eaten with the rice, it turned out to be a perfect combination! Should be trying this restuarant again some other time with full details. So now all I can say is the restaurant is in the supermarket in liang court beneath Audio House. :) MUST TRY.Anyway, was quite a strange crowd that day, a mix of my university friends, army friends and secondary school friends. But in some way or another, they kind of associated.... Let's explore those links now....

0 commentsRan two rounds around my neighbourhood today at really slow pace. At the end of it felt like I've sprint 2Km non-stop, feel like fainting , chest pain and sweating like crazy.
不能不认老了.... LOL.
Time to cut down on those heavy meals and run more! Must remind myself... No more IHL le.... :'(

Recieved a self made cake from 小宝. 感动. It was really tasty, really nice. Haha, sorry, I'm not a very expressive person. Also recieved a self made water plant which I think you took time to do using a plier. Very beautiful decoration wor. :D. Forgot to take photo of it though.
Hmmz, again, I don't look good in the photo. LOL. Ate half the cake. Here's the rough ingredients inside: Sponge cake, cooking oil, cheese, cream and dragon fruit (still got anything missing 小宝?). 
Caught death note 2 in marina. A final ending to the sequel with plenty of twist here and there. Well, at least you didn't sleep. I wonder why wor.... Haha. Damn funny, trying to be posers of the actor and actress on the poster. 
Ate Azubusabo ice cream after the movie. Green tea + red bean and banana chocolate flavours. Nice. Here's the address. Another place recommended by HO JIA EHTM.

0 commentsHad a long day yesterday. Finally got my level 4000 modules - tumour biology. Yes! I finally got Tumour!!!!!!! LOL. Took quite alot of walking from one end of science faculty to the other end a few times before finally confirming my slot in the module. Here was how it roughly went...
Went for tumour biology lesson in the early morning 800am.
Didn't ask the lecturer during break regarding the module allocation, believing that he was not the module coordinator.
Went to LSOC ( the place we usally appeal and get rejected at the same time ) and found out that it was gone and shifted to the other end of science faculty.
Got a call from a friend who informed me that the lecturer in the morning was actually temporary taking over the duties of the module coordinator.
Found his office number on ivle and called him. Nobody answered.
Panic.
After 5minutes, he called me back. Relieved. Ask for the slot, and he agreed. Exasperated.
Went to LSOC ( at the other end ), took a form and went to find the lecturer.
Went to his office, he was not around. Went to his lab, he was not around too.
Waited in the canteen and bombarded his office phone for the next 1hr and 30mins.
Before 12pm lesson, went to find him again.
Went to another lab of us, he was not around.
Went back to his office again, FOUND him! He was on the phone all along.
Signed the papers. ( mission one accomplished )
2pm ( after 12pm lesson ), went back to LSOC.
Got informed that I need another signature from another person.
Went in search for her, took only a while. Obtained the second signature ( mission two accomplished ).
Went back to LSOC, admin person told me to drop my module before she could add tumour biology inside.
After my much pestering, she forced the module in, much to my delight.
Went to xiao bao's room to drop the modules that clashed.
Finally got LSM4243 Tumour Biology. YES!

1. Not really failed ippt, just that it rained, so they cancelled the 2.4km run.

1 commentsUnable to get my modules, first time appealing to get a lvl4000 core module. All I can now is pray that a miracle happens so that my preferred time table could be done.
Tommorrow, exam paper for the wild life of Australia in the morning, follow by collecting the car to drive up to the Blue mountains again. This time around to visit the caves. Heard they were really wonderful caves. Hence, won't be available to bid for my modules. Thanks to xiao bao for helping me. :)
Revision still half way through........ Pray hard that the paper's gonna be easy tomorrow.
Had a heavy dinner just now, cooked what was left in the fridge as today's the last day we'll be cooking in the hostel. Very very full now......... 好饱啊。。。haha...
Cooked all the dishes shown with the help of all my friends who cut and marinate the meat and cut the vegetables too especially to Jingwei who helped out the most. Not an amazing cook but at least the food was edible. :)
All the people who ate the "last dinner" before tomorrow's paper. :)

0 commentsBasically, I waited for one hour for the pancake to come. And I brought about the attention of about three waiters until the pancake finally arrive. So when I was about to pay at the cashier, the person said I didn't have to pay because I waited too long. That's the way service should be! Singapore should learn to be something like that too! :)

I hate cors bidding system. I can't get any of my modules. I'm desperate now. If I don't get any modules which I planned to get, I'm so going to stone around during this coming semester. Please give me my ideal timetable modules! I don't care whether their examination dates fall on the same day! LOL

Hmmz, let's start with my new year resolution.....
Number one on the list is......
1. Er..... She know, I know can le..... LOL.
As for the second one, I just thought of it while I was waiting for the harbour bridge fireworks in the evening yesterday.
It might not seem so, but I found out that my actions are affected by how other people around me. For example, when a certain group of people didn't seem to like a particular someone, someone whom I think has nothing wrong with his/her character, my actions just seem suddenly awkward and out of place. Kind of difficult to explain this, but I wish I could change this kind of mindset in the coming year.
To be unaffected by what others think of someone. To explore and trust what I believe in.
3. I think I gained alot of weight in Australia already. Time to slim down.... after I get back to Singapore. Haha.
4. Work harder in the coming semester. Find other ways to earn money.
Hmm, I believe there are still a number of resolutions left which I haven't thought of.... Shall write them down once I thought of it. :D
